  1. 1) This is bullying.
    2) This is premature.
    3) I hope Ed Hughes will reconsider, given 1 and 2 (as well as the many other substantive issues and ongoing unanswered questions about the proposal).
    4) I hope the other four — Cole, Passman, Moss and Silveira — will hold firm and keep asking for substantive answers to their questions.
    5) Don’t the reporters and others realize that few people have the courage of Allen Ruff and Will Williams to speak out publicly against Madison Prep? The conversation and attacks have been so simplistic for so long, even to ask an intelligent question gets you labeled a racist.
    6) To call someone racist rather than to answer their questions is evasive and has been destructive of the public process.
    7) Anyone know why the Madison Prep folks have not registered their fundraising with the United Way?

  2. Worst of all possible decisions. Everyone needs to go back to square one. Everybody involved has lost in this needless, substanceless battle.
But, I guess this is what war is like; the war stops only when everybody is tired of fighting. But this war has just begun.
Irrational at every turn. Who is going to win on paper? The biggest bully.
