  1. Thanks, Lawrie. Too bad the District didn’t see fit to include the Redesign update piece in its press release. I wonder why?
    BTW, someone has told me that there is a plan to break us up into small discussion groups at this meeting. Is that true? I hope not. At this first public gathering on this very important topic, I would strongly prefer that the audience be kept together, so that we can all hear everything that is asked and said. I think it’s important that we not let the Administration do the “divide and conquer” thing they did to us during the middle school redesign. It’s also important to get this whole thing on tape, so that people who are unable to attend can still get the whole story. That was not possible during the middle school initiative, again, because they broke us up into groups right away.
