I have been told by two BOE members that there will be a public information session sometime in the next week or two on the progress-to-date of the High School Redesign Committee and the District-wide “small learning communities” grant that has been applied for — including clarity about how the Committee’s work and the grant application relate to one another.

  2. I know someone on the Math Task Force and just wrote to him, both for an overall update and for the answer to your specific question, Laura. I’ll let you know what I hear back.

  3. The Math Task Force will have its first meeting during the second week of June. According to Co-Chair Jim Lewis (University of Nebraska), the parent and teacher members have not yet been appointed by the BOE. He is hoping they will be asap.
