UW Madison Saturday Enrichment Program

University of Wisconsin School of Education:

Sessions each Saturday are 9:30 am – 12:00 pm; 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm, or 9:30 am – 3:00 pm. Students may participate in either a half day or full day experience. Students who choose to participate in a full day session should bring a sack lunch.

  1. The courses in the listings look great. I was bummed when they changed it to middle school only students two years ago – our elementary-age children had been attending for several semesters before that. But, as with so many other enrichment opportunities, the money was no longer there, and the form that “gave” (i.e., “collapsed”) first was the opportunities for elementary-age children. At least our fifth-grader is finally old enough again (grades 5-8 can attend). Now, if I can just convince him that this is a good way to spend several hours every Saturday. He loved it before, but now we have to get him excited all over again – not easy with his dependence on routine.
