2025–26 Arkansas Education Freedom Accounts Program

Misty Gallo, Alison Heape Johnson, Joshua B. McGee
and Patrick J. Wolf:

On nationally normed assessments, EFA students in private-school and homeschool settings scored, on average, at the 62nd percentile in math and the 66th percentile in reading.

Private-school students scored at the 60th percentile in math and the 63rd percentile in reading; homeschool and microschool students scored at the 65th percentile in math and the 70th percentile in reading. A percentile rank indicates the percentage of students in the national norm group whose scores a student equaled or exceeded. For example, a score at the 62nd percentile means that the student scored as well as or better than 62 percent of the national norm group.
