Gangs: 2 people shot at Eden Prairie homecoming game, stadium evacuated
Eden Prairie High School’s football game against Minnetonka was evacuated on Friday night amid a reported shooting and a major police response.
The Eden Prairie Police Department said officers responded to the homecoming game at about 8:40 p.m. after a report of shots fired.
At an emergency news conference outside an Eden Prairie fire station, police said two people were shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.
In an 11:42 p.m. Facebook post, the Eden Prairie Police Department said the shooting is believed to have been targeted, and that no arrests have been made. The department said the investigation is ongoing and that additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Eden Prairie MN had their Homecoming Football Game shut down because of Somali Gang Fights.
150+ Somali started a gang fight at their Homecoming game
I don’t think people not from here will understand how big of a deal that is
Eden Prairie/Edina, that whole corridor of cities are first ring suburbs of Minneapolis and are the Safe, Nice, Rich Neighborhoods

Let us be very clear: there are no “roving Somali gangs terrorizing people.”
The Trump administration is, once again, using a campaign of hatred and fear to try and divide us.
It will not work.

practice the school protects kids from the law. This is because almost all districts got rid of school resource officers. They shield them from the law because they don’t want to deal with mom and dad, or they think they can rehabilitate at school or, yes, they’re ACAB activists.
No matter what the route it leads teens to not have any “soft accountability” before making the choice to bring a gun to school.
Years ago I had a Somali parent ask me what to do with their child. They were a mother and they feared for their child but that boys don’t listen to their mothers past age 8 or so.
Get mad at me all you want, it’s my lived experience. In this long conversation I realized the cultural issues went way beyond them not listening to a female teacher.
I don’t need to put in the disclaimer “not all” but I will. I have had countless Somali students who were so respectful and kind and wanted to break out of that culture and “make it” in the USA.
By not enforcing laws and school rules we leave all of them vulnerable first.
When my Somali student was murdered and it was swept under the rug as “accidental” I knew in practice what my gut told me: by turning a blind eye, we first harm them. (And see hw quickly the news was willing to buy the absolutely stupid story of an ‘accident’ while ‘studying’)

Did the homecoming queen get a gun? As always, no arrests have been made, no victims named. These suburban disturbances appear to occur within a unique form of black holes, from which only certain information cannot escape, with local media standing guard at the event horizon, just to make sure.
I’ve mentioned the adjacent southwest suburban cities of Eden Prairie and Minnetonka a few times lately, as the two host the sprawling headquarters of the health insurance giant United Healthcare. The cities are prosperous and usually peaceful.
Until last night.

Much more.
