A local crossing guard went above and beyond to help a student get across a flooded Chicago street on Thursday.
Joe Sass is a crossing guard at Jamieson Elementary School, located at 5650 North Mozart Street on the city’s North Side.
When a water main break occurred near West Bryn Mawr Avenue and North California Avenue early Thursday morning, it led to some flooding at the intersection.
