Notes on reading, closed schools and ineffective curriculum

Just realized the link between @ehanford‘s Sold a Story podcast and NAEP scores. People have been wondering why reading scores didn’t drop as much as math scores after school closures. Answer: kids aren’t taught to read at school, so closed schools didn’t matter. QED.
