School Board Candidate Take Home Test, Week 3
Here’s the third round of the Take-Home Test, the weekly question and answer session Isthmus is conducting with this spring’s candidates for the Madison Board of Education.
Here are this week’s questions:
- Do school board members have an obligation to keep up to date with the communications technologies students are using, particularly in the educational setting? Examples include texting, myspace, and online teachers’ reviews.
- Extra Credit: How closely do you think parents should monitor the media (music videos, video games, online social networks) their kids consume?
- More Extra Credit: What was the last video game you played for more than 5 minutes?
