Key Curriculum Press is in quite a snit over the Court’s decision about the high school textbooks.
Check out this web page they wrote in response.
Much more on the recent successful community vs. Seattle School District Discovery Math court case here.
Most interesting is not Key Curriculum’s response but they have posted some of the court documents in this case: The judge’s decision, the plaintiff’s brief and the respondent’s brief. None of the evidentiary material is present however.
One item stood out. The respondent’s brief cites MMSD School data that the Seattle School Board received regarding outcomes after adopting the same curriculum as being proposed for Seattle. (page 20 of the Respondent’s Brief).
