The Most Dangerous Equation

What constitutes a dangerous equation? There are two obvious interĀ­ pretations: some equations are dangerous if you know the equation and others are dangerous if you do not. In this chapter I will not ex- plore the dangers an equation might hold because the secrets within
its bounds open doors behind which lie terrible peril. Few would dis- agree that the obvious winner in this contest would be Einstein's iconic equation
